    Alan took 5 weeks to complete a relatively small ensuite refresh in our family home. He ordered all materials after a personal visit. Sadly within 3 months of the work being completed I noticed a leak to the hallway ceiling and a "bobbling" of the shower panels. On contacting Alan he was not interested in this, instead focussing on a final invoice I had missed for the shower panel (210 out of approx 5k). Considering I paid him half his fee during the installation and the rest within 5 working days of him completing the job, I find it disappointing he was not interested in reviewing and/or rectifying the issue. I repeatedly contacted Alan but to no avail. His advise was simply not to use the shower. Being concerned the leak was now going to my downstairs toilet, I engaged with another bathroom fitter whom a neighbour had recently used and recommended. On review he confirmed that the shower panels were allowing water into all of them (3), and that the leaks were caused by these. On top of this he confirmed that the sealant was not done correctly (thick enough), and the shower base was fitted too high and the plastic legs would have broken if left much longer. This plumber completed remediation work which included removing the old panels, the old wall boards (due to water damage) and raising the floor level so the shower base was solid. Please DO NOT use this company. Alan seems a nice family man, he talks confidently about what needs to be done. Yet his actions belie this approach and he follow up has been terrible. You will see my from my other reviews that I am always honest and fair.
