Swillington Health Practice

Choose another practice. Shocking service from power hungry reception team. One male sat at the screen slouched on his phone - great investment of NHS funds right there. Two females chatting away completely disregarding me standing there too. Screen wouldnt lock me in so told me to check in at reception. They then told me as I was two minutes late I cant have my appointment - woman was hideously smug and rude about it, I cannot understand why someone could be like that. Another patient even said theyd taken someone else into my slot so why not swap. These people are not helping the perception or efficiencies of the NHS.

I just don't understand why this surgery is open- whenever I call the triumvirate for an appointment, it's never at Swillington, it's always at Oulton or Rothwell so I have to take a taxi down. I was recently told there are no doctors at Swillington, so truly have no idea why the "surgery" is there other than to collect the odd sample.

Nurse went above and beyond during consultation - spent time to listen and was very knowledgeable and thorough. Couldn't recommend them enough.

Appointments are always timely. Repeat prescriptions are correct and easily accessible. Staff are very polite and helpful.

Certainly good considering the small rural area, they try their best.
