Heather Cottage B&B

We were on a short weekend break and was very delayed on a Friday night due to 2 train cancellations and further delays on the line heading out that evening. Henrietta kindly greeted us when we finally arrived in the middle of a very dark wet night completely exhausted, asked the all important question of when we would like breakfast the next morning, then left us to settle in and rest for the evening. She runs a very comfortable and efficient little b&b: everything was spotless, breakfast was delicious, the bed comfortable. Couldn't ask for more. Henrietta is happy to give advice on walks, cultures, museums, have a nice little chat, and make sure that you feel welcome in her home, but will give you as much space and freedom as you want as well. We hope to be back again soon.

Thank you so much to Henrietta at Heather Cottage for a lovely stay a couple of weeks ago. The location was great, with the beautiful new New Forest right on the doorstep. We took our bikes to explore. Henrietta made us feel very welcome and at home, she is a lovely host. The room was very comfy and the breakfast was delicious...!! Thank you, we will definitely be back.
