Having bought a brand new home fitted with said security alarm i was suprised when it started going of randomly at all hours day and night without it ever being switched on.
I phoned Advance who said it was out of its 3 year warranty, I've only been in the house 18 months how would i know as I'd not had any handover pack for the alarm and after trying to obtain an initial quote from them for lights and cctv nobody got back to me so i looked elsewhere.
The alarm was keeping my family and specifically my 4 yr old awake at night, could something be done in good will!? No, is the response.
Do yourself a favour, go Costco and get an alarm with a 5 yr warranty and have it fitted by someone who actually cares....
