Jane Everard pianist and accompanist

I joined Jane's Virtual Village choir during lockdown earlier this year. It was always a joy to attend virtual rehearsals, Jane prepared some lovely songs for us to enjoy singing but also a wealth of hints and tips about choral singing - how to prepare, what to expect and how to understand musical notation and navigate your way around music for the totally uninitiated! Most of all, though, it was always such fun and we laughed often! Jane made sure that we got to know each other using breakout sessions so that we will already feel like a choir by the time we actually get to meet and sing together!

Jane has provided accompaniment for the drama group I am a member of. Having taken on a lead for the first time in many years and sharing a stage with 2 much more competent singers, my nerves led me to ask Jane for help. If she tells you, like she did me that she's "Not really a singing teacher" I say this: She's the best one I have ever had. We quickly established a lovely direct relationship where we could get to the point/issue quickly and she moved me on so fast. Yes she coached me musically and helped my vocals and technique but she also hugely advanced my confidence and had me backing myself and believing that I deserved the role (that Covid sadly stole so we'll never know!) Thank you Jane - the stage will be back and so will I.

I have attended two concerts in which Jane has performed, and have enjoyed them immensely. I have heard Jane play on many occasions and she is always reliable and professional as well as being a highly talented, lovely lady. I can thoroughly recommend her.

Jane accompanied my Daughter for her grade 3 exam having never met my daughter before Jane was unaware Lana had anxiety, dyscalculia and is dyslexic. Her warm and friendly approach yet very professional meant Lana immediately felt at ease with Jane but also stayed focus through her 2 practice sessions. I would highly recommend Jane Everard.
