I went for my 6 week checkup after having my first baby and I will never go back ! Every concern I had about my child was brushed off and the doctor wanted the appointment over as quickly as possible. I had to be examined and it was very unprofessional. She did not explain anything that was going to happen and it was so painful I left in tears.

My sister tried to get a urgent medical appointment today the receptionist said not really what does that mean,so rude you can't get past there receptionist to get a appointment. This is the 2nd time this has happened the 1st time when she couldn't see a doctor she was in St Thomas Hospital 8 days with a serious operation.. This is a disgusting state of affairs

If I could I would give this surgery less than 0 stars. The receptionist staff are consistently extremely rude - both in person and over the phone. And please do not get me started on the main doctor Dr Kemi. She has a very condescending and patronising tone when she is speaking to you. Reprimands you as if you are a child for things she is very obviously guilty of also. Despite this, I ignored all of the above and carried on attending this surgery for over 3 years. What finally made me leave was when I went to see Dr Kemi for my 6 week postpartum check up. During my appointment she routinely asked how I was doing mentally and in response I broke down in tears whilst explaining the problems I was facing mentally (not realising it was actually postpartum depression). At this point, Dr Kemi thought it was most appropriate to laugh while I was breaking down then hand me a booklet about postpartum depression and shoo me out of the room because the surgery was running late. Her response caused me to internalise my depression and subsequently suffer with it for over a year. Despicable. They clearly do not have the capacity to handle mental health issues so should not start the conversation. Rather refer the patient to someone who is competent enough to help the patient.

Noted remarks regarding Dr Kimmy but in Covid situation it is the reception that really angers me so rude and abrupt no niceties at all. Ridiculous trying to speak through an inch gap of the window and nothing angers me more than being spoken to like a child!! Continuing problems trying to get a repeat prescription in place, lots of running around because of inefficient staff. Oh for the days of Dr Watty or the lovely guy who wanted to take on practice . Bearing in mind they are dealing with unwell people should surely have some empathy or are those days gone
