Walked into an empty shop and wait
standing a good 10 Seconds before somebody arrived.
When I asked for some darts I was shown a selection and told lightest at the top lowest at the bottom.
When asking if I could test them
the gentleman replied "It's discretionary based on how busy iam!"
Or maybe he was saying he couldn't be bothered.
The shop was EMPTY, basically saying he didn't trust me to practice alone and that paperwork was more important to him than a sale. (which I would say was highly likely)
The fact it took 10 seconds for him to greet me tells me he can't care about the store much anyway.
He then said "Your welcome to come back another time!"
-Do you think I'll be back, to run the risk of me being fobbed off again...?
I simply replied "Well that was a wasted journey! You can't expect me to make a purchase without test of some darts. There is a reason why I have come here!"
Made me feel insulted and goes against everything I believe a business is about. (Making a sale.)
If darts occupies his time too much then maybe they shouldn't sell them anymore.
