York House

My Mother, June, spent almost two years in York House; in that time she had nothing but the highest praise for all of the members of staff, for the quality of the food and for the facilities in general. Due to Covid and lockdowns I was not able to visit Mum as often as I would have liked, but I took comfort in knowing that she was receiving the best possible care . Whenever I telephoned the home the staff were always cheerful, friendly and more than happy to keep me informed as to Mum's progress. When I was able to visit Mum I found the staff as friendly and helpful in person as they had been on the phone, and it was evident that the staff were loving, warm and caring; it was equally clear that there was mutual respect and warmth between Mum and the carers. I would not hesitate to recommend York House, and everyone working there has my deepest respect and gratitude.

My Mother Mary stayed here recently, recovering from an operation and in her words "she said that she was immediatley made to feel very welcome and the care and kindness was first class. The kitchen staff provided a varied selection of excellent cuisine and the whole team of carers were absolute gems" . Thank you so much for taking care of her.
