Absolute gem of a pub. Traditional old pub, serving local ales, and superb food. Staff were really accommodating, we didnt book on either of our visits because we didn't know when we would arrive being part way around long coastal walks. However despite the pub being rammed we were found a place to sit and provided with exceptional food at super value prices. Our visits were weekdays out of season, yet the place was full, this is for good reason

Two absolutely fantastic meals in two days. Great service, lovely setting. One of our "must visits" when in Swanage. The Sunday roast was one of the best I have ever had (and I've had a few!).
