Just a quick message to say how lovely the lady in this shop was today (so sorry, I didnt ask your name!) Very friendly and chatty and so many lovely gift ideas, some very original items that I havent seen anywhere else. She was very interested to hear all about our wedding plans. Well worth a visit - it is important to keep shops like this open for business!

Last night we went to a restaurant and my niece was having severe difficulties. She stood up, dead behind the eyes, walked out the door and straight along the pavement. After sitting on the pavement with her for a while I saw a shop next door. I managed to get her inside and nearly cried when I saw a lit up Christmas tree. She starred at it for ages giving me a chance to put her ear defenders on and hold her tight to calm her down. The lady who owned the shop came over and gave her this windmill which she played with happily and we were able to go back and have dinner. I am so so grateful to people like her for their kindness and understanding, she was my sister in law's hero last night.
