Surprise 'N' Store

We had great service at this store when my friend was looking for new walking boots. Staff were VERY knowledgeable about their stock and it was super useful having the sizes available listed on some of the lower stock items, to save you from asking if they had them in your size. The boots in their Heavenly Feet range were to die for as well... I may have ended up with a spontaneous boot purchase! As well as a compact picnic blanket. 5* service received, so a 5* review from us

I am reluctant to buy in this shop now as I bought a pair of snow boots, sold as waterproof. I wore them once in wet weather and they leaked. I took them back to the shop to seek a refund, as the boots were mis sold. The owner was very reluctant to refund me, even with the evidence of the damp boots in front of him. He suggested that I had sweaty feet and this was the problem. Rude and untrue. After more hassle than was necessary, I did eventually get my money back . I think I mentioned trading standards. If you buy faulty goods from here,and want a refund be ready for a tough time! Generally staff are pleasant, but the owner is capable of being very rude, as I've seen. Also,I'm doubtful about the quality of some of the goods after my experience
