Holy Trinity Church, Rainow

A nice congregation, a most approachable and welcoming minister Simon Gowler and his wife Liz also their daughter Grace, family friendly service, light open services, the building has recently undergone a restoration removing the pews and returning to the early Church layout and it really has transformed it, giving an open space with a great feel for a variety of uses rather than the ridged Victorian style, the stone floor is tactile and visually beautiful, too the rear of the Church is a meeting room for after service teas and coffees and also a place to take children for a messy Church session whilst the service is on.

Attended a funeral for one of our walk leaders. Sensitive service. I sometimes wonder about Google.

It's a church, it has a graveyard, pretty views, church events, a standard Sunday service, Christmas fair, plant sale, etc, the usual really. Some of the members make a truly amazing cake, so watch out for any events with tea and cake involved!
