Till to date I haven't received the refund I am due for my account getting charged when it was frozen. It's been over 4 months and countless calls and correspondence back and forth.

Very big problems 1. The smell and humidity. The air con has not being cleaned and is rarely on. You can see the dust and mould building up each week. Pretty horrible to train in as the smell of stale sweat is immense. 2. Staff leaving every few months. Already seen 3 teams come and go with 12 months.

DO NOT GO HERE!! they completely scammed my brother. My brother and his girlfriend cancelled their membership after 1 year. They followed the cancellation procedure and no payment was taken the following month so he assumed it was all ok. The following month a direct debit was taken out of his account so he called Anytime Fitness who said they had no knowledge of his cancellation. Anytime fitness then confirmed his contract was cancelled. He stopped direct debits being taken as a precaution. Months later Anytime Fitness wrote to him saying he owed months worth of money as he had cancelled his direct debit. He said he had been informed his contract was cancelled but again they said they had no knowledge of this. He then goes into the branch to talk about this issue which the manager said that they will resolve it. He then gets a letter in the post from a credit control agency saying he needs to pay 152.85. He has paid this as he does not want this to affect his credit score. It is frustrating as all correspondence has either been over the phone or in person so nothing in writing. I dont understand why he has had to pay this especially when his girlfriend cancelled the contract at the same time as him. The staff do not follow up on what they say and have completely misled my brother. Not impressed at all.
