We have recently had a new fireplace made and fitted by Robin Winterton and his team at the Stone Fireplace Company and were absolutely delighted with it. The quality and design is everything we wanted and the finished result is wonderful. From the beginning, Robins advice and experience helped us choose the right stone to suit our room and we looked at several designs with him, in the workshop and online, before making our final choice. This is the second stone fire surround Robin has done for us, one in sandstone and one in limestone. Absolutely fantastic, we can not fault his work and James who helps fit them both are true professionals who are passionate about their work

Right from the first time we met Robin it was clear how passionate he was about his work and how committed he was to offering excellent customer service. We were able to talk through what we wanted to create in our period home and Robin was extremely helpful in shaping our concept. The time spent in the workshop was invaluable and resulted in the most amazing creation. Robin kept us updated throughout and provided detailed photos of the fireplace as it was created. We are so thrilled with the finished fireplace and everybody comments on the quality the moment they walk into the room. We would have no hesitation in recommending Robin and shall definitely use him again when our need arises.
