Very disappointed with this chemist. Chose my prescriptions to be sent there by my GP. On 2 occasions recently they have not being Able to give them to me because no pharmacist on premises. Went yesterday and they were closed at 4. 30 pm with shutters down. Not at all happy so now have no medication .

Found this place very unprofessional. Would recommend boots at Princess Alice retail park a mile down the chester road. Open later, well stocked, helpful, open later and when they advertise they are supposed to be open! On posting this review, this place has a review star of only 1 and a rating of only 1.7, should have took notice before using! I arrived with a prescription at this Lloyds branch, that was given by the doctor for my son late in the afternoon. I checked the opening times and it said it was open until 6pm. I raced there and arrived in time, only to see the two employees locking up. I asked if they were closing early, and with attitude from the female member of staff was told coldly yes. There was no sign on the window to state this was the case. If this was a professional reliable place you could trust, then they would be open the hours advertised, moreover help someone who is in need of medication for their child even if close to closing. Its worth avoiding in my opinion as if this is a reflection of their type of attitude I wouldnt want their professional support with something medical!

I was challenged regarding my perscription that the Dermatologist at Good Hope Hospital had perscribed for me. I wasn't taken into the consultation room like i should of been to discuss any private medical issues. Instead i was publically humiliated by having all of the other customers listen in on a embarrasing skin complaint that i have, so i was very self concious that other customers were looking as they could hear the conversation. The Pharmacist said and i quote" do you really need all of these scalp treatments?". If she had checked first, she would of seen there were only 2 scalp treatments, and the other 2 were shampoos. It is not their place to challange medications that a Doctor has apprived and signed off. To ask if you would like a medication review yes, but this is entirely different. I contacted there Head Office and the incident has been investigated, but they have not had the courtesey to contact me. My Drs surgery said i should of recieved an apology. I have had the incident recorded on my medical records, and in future i will have a paper perscription i can take somewhere else, so i don't have to use them. They are always surposed to take customers in the consultation room when discussing personal medical matters, which they failed to do. It is not their place to challenge and question what a patient has been perscribed. I should not have to stand there and justify my medication to them. Very unprofessional to humiliate customers in that way.
