Lad & Turner Opticians

Just picked up my new glasses from Ladd and Turner opticians. Great service from beginning to end. I was given plenty of attention, time and advice resulting in a good experience. I usually go to Boots but got a better service at Ladd and Turner... a truly individualised service.

My glasses broke into two pieces shortly before I departed to organise a major event in the north east. Mr Turner sourced a new bridge, saw to the repair and had my glasses express-delivered to me in Durham in record time. The charge? 17,50. The value of the service provided? Priceless. This is exactly why it makes sense to use local businesses and this is one first rate local business.

You wont finder better service or knowledge. Pete and Jay are the John Lewis of Opticians, I have used them for over 20 years and can honestly say that their service is exemplary. The level of knowledge and advice supported by a genuine wish to provide the best solution possible with no hidden agenda, cant be be matched. The store is easy to access with readily available free parking, they have a large range of quality glasses and provide the very best optic brands. All three of my new glasses are brilliant, which include additional coatings (advised by Pete) that I wasnt aware you could have which really enhance the prescription. I cant recommend them enough.
