Absolutely appalling customer service after completion. My partner and I purchased our first home together in March last year and everything was fine until completion, however as soon as the keys were handed over they completely seemed to forget about us although we have multiple significant issues outstanding (including a crumbling boundary wall). The main house builder (who will assure you when he's selling you the house that he's "always contactable and has fantastic relationships with his previous customers") ignores all forms of communication and head office does the same. We have asked multiple times for their complaints handling procedure to escalate matters and are yet to receive. Please keep this in mind when looking to purchase a home through JM. We thought a small house builder would give better customer service than the likes of Bovis / David Wilson / Taylor Wimpey etc. but they're just the same, if not worse, as they have no customer relationship structure in place to attempt to resolve issues.
