Did a fantastic job on my roof, I don't usually leave reviews but i must say i highly recommend this company. The staff are so friendly and professional.

Edited following owner response: 1) around 200 was figure quoted on initial visit. 240 plus Vat (288) was then figure sent afterwards. I asked for compromise of 250. My husband did an online quote estimate through a generic website and got a price if around 140. This is what we ended up paying someone else 2) see above I never mentioned not wanting to pay VAT just whether a compromise was possible when I had budgeted on initial figure quoted and not been informed that number would be plus VAT (and more) 3) yes I was over emotional and that was what the apology (which I think was a nice thing to do) was for - my voicemail to you I was crying and cross, and I said I had been overly harsh on reflection. There is no lying here it was factual I repeatedly chased for quotes and then never heard back. My emotions were OTT but then I had a young baby and holes in my roof leaking water during our two recent severe storms and a quick "I can't do the job at the original price quoted" was all that was required I wish you all the best for the future - as you say your other reviews are good so this must be a blip due to the busy period. Deleting it would be inaccurate however and if you make customers delete truthful low reviews then that is not a fair picture. ****** With the recent storm we had a number of tiles blow off the roof and the owner came out to quote. I made it clear that with a young baby if he couldnt fit us in could he be honest so I could phone someone else. Was promised a quote which I had to chase 4 times after when he said it would come through. Quote was excessive compared to online estimates and his own verbal estimate but was told I was booked in. I politely asked if it was possible for a slight reduction. No response. I chased repeatedly, leaving voicemails saying if he couldnt now do the job could he let me know so I could start phoning someone else. Today he is due to fix our roof and he's not turned up nor have I heard anything. I've had to find an the roofer who of course can't fit us in immediately so we have holes in our roof risking water damage to our property until it can now be fixed. I've been in tears the last 48 hours. All it would have taken is a quick WhatsApp to let me know whats going on. I couldn't have made it clearer how much I was relying on him. Please don't use if you can't risk just being ignored and the job not being done. It's not worth the hassle or worry.
