One of the bests car repair shop in Birmingham i had serious issues with my gearbox and they resolve the problem, and also find out i have another problem with my drive shaft. They did a fantastic job and i would highly recommend them to anyone.

I was experiencing a fault with the 1st Gear in a manual Peugeot 208 (2012 plate) where it was making a crunching sound when trying to change gears - downshifting. I checked for a reputable gearbox specialist and JDM had the best reviews. I called JDM and spoke with James who gave me a full breakdown of the possible repair costs which was really competitive. I booked the repair in with James and he diagnosed and fixed the gearbox fault. The gearbox was removed and installed by JDM and I had clutch changed at the same time. The car now drives perfectly and James kept me informed throughout the whole process. The repair turn around was also really fast. I had AA parts cover and it authorised the repair work which I was able to claim back, due to James being thorough in his explanation of the fault which Im grateful for. Gearbox went on my car, seen the reviews on google and decided to give James a ring, he was prompt and gave good detail on the work required. Prices were fair and the work was spot on. Couldnt be happier with the gearbox now in my car. Would definitely getting work done from him.
