Had my hair dyed and cut by Milli and she did an amazing job. So happy with how my hair turned out, she transformed and made me feel so much happier!

I left a one star review several months ago originally. I am editing the review today to clarify my reasons as to why I have left a negative review. I tried to upload photos to illustrate a timeline but the review would not show up when I did this. I arranged an appointment with Creative Cutting Walmley with one of their senior hairdressers for October 3rd 2022. I had passed by this salon a lot since I live locally and I really wanted to give this place a go. The result of my appointment at Creative Cutting Walmley has been a disaster for me, I am really sad about the outcome of my hair. The hair has been cut way too short and thinned out with the thinning shears far too much. The ends are cut too bluntly to give any movement to the hairstyle. When the toner was applied after colouring, it really hurt my scalp. I was one of three people served by that person while I was there, no time was taken to understand what I wanted. The colour itself looked ok even though it wasn't what I was expecting or wanted. I tried to be optimistic. I arranged a follow up appointment but cancelled it about a week later, I didn't want to take up a slot and not show for it. The owner/manager called me sometime after I cancelled the appointment to ask me if I was happy with my hair, I didn't know what to tell her because at this stage I felt conflicted so I told her that I liked it. The reality of what had been done to my hair began to sink in after many weeks of coloured hair breaking off in the shower and collecting in the drain. My hair is ruined, I have thought about having a colour correction but the hair is so damaged and thinned out that it doesn't even seem worth it, I am lucky to not have a buzz cut. On the 21st of March 2023 I was waiting in a car outside Walmley Pharmacy while someone was collecting a prescription, the person who cut my hair at Creative Cutting jumped out of the car behind, looked to the right as she passed by and just stared at me - not a nice feeling if I am honest. I walked out looking much worse than when I walked in and I regret cutting my long hair to begin with now and probably will never trust a hairdresser again.
