1. Gym is good but missing a lot of equipment due to being rather small. If you go on weekends or busy times the gym size becomes very noticeable. Its very difficult to workout due to lack of equipment. Go at quiet times it's fantastic. They're missing white a few machines so you will need to supplement things with dumbbells. Really wish they would add more machines and move the arobics area to one of their many rooms or something.
2. Classes seem to be wonderful and everyone has a blast.
3. Changing rooms are cleaned regularly and plenty of showers and space to change.
4. Pool side facilities: (2x Sauna, 2x Steam room & 2x jacuzzi): in the time I've joined the gym has tried several options to turn 1/2 the pool side facilities off to save on energy costs which didn't go down with the members. They have now turned them back on but have lowered the sauna, steam and jacuzzi temperatures. It's noticable but understandable in the times we are in. During the time I've been at this gym the facilities have worked most of the time and the staff have been open to suggestions from the members. The pool is much much colder than it used to be. Saunas are 10 degrees colder now.
5. Security: DO NOT PARK in their carpark. I know of two people at this gym who've had their cars stolen from this car park and some who've had their cars broken into. The car park is not owned by the gym so they shrug off all ownerships to protect their members cars. They just *pass on feedback*. You are better off parking in the princess Alice shopping area where it's more open to the public. No changes have been made to the carpark since the robberies.
6. Charity: Gym staff often hold charity events which is highly commendable and the members love this.
Thanks for the ace gym so far: signed up for another year, ideal for me personally.
