Blackwood Fish Bar

Heard the owner, i think her name was Andrea, lambasting one of her members of staff. It was incredibly unprofessional, and quite frankly, horrible. It is clear that those young people working there are working in unclean and unsanitary conditions in food prep areas, and earning below legal minimum wage. This is an absolute disgrace. Wont be coming here again for my fish supper.

It's disgraceful how the owners - particularly the woman - choose to treat their staff. She demonstrates a total disregard for the welfare and wellbeing of the young people employed in her business and was quite happy to confront my daughter in a shop full of people about why my other daughter left at short notice. Well! pin back your ears Andrea and TRY to listen...she left because she was treated with absolute contempt by you because she took time off with Covid and felt so upset, she couldn't return - shame on you.

First time using this chip shop,and the last. Very long queue on a Friday evening left me expecting nice food. I was very disappointed, chips ok but the fish was well below average.
