My JAB experience started well. They came to my property, and we discussed what I wanted They measured up and a while later came back with some good plans and drawings. I was asked if I wanted my job put to tender to JABs Trusted builders I liked the idea of using a builder who came through the Architect as I am away a lot with work in my mind, they would have that line of communication to solve any issues as and when they came up. I received a phone call from a builder saying hed been passed my plans and details from JAB. We arranged a time; He came to my house to take a look. He had all my plans printed out. All with JAB logos on. The builder was confident and friendly and said hed worked a lot through JAB. We arranged a time to start. The build started ok but after the first week they started turning up infrequently then weeks would pass, and they didnt turn up at all. We were left in a horrible position half-built walls half-built roof. Leaks, Ruined Garden. Patio doors lying out in the grass for 4 months. They would turn up for 1 day a week. I got in touch with JAB and they arranged a meeting with the builder. The result of this was JAB told me the builder had under quoted and that he required more money. I was told this would resolve the issues. I agreed and paid more money to the builder for a week, or 2 things started to move on. JAB made a couple of site visits to check on things. I was told everything was going well. Then again things stopped by this time 7 months had passed for a 4-6 week (quoted job) We started to notice bad work as well. Leaking roof, Plasterboard being used between RSJ and floor above. The standard of work was poor as well. I contacted JAB again, but no reply. Finally, I got an email from JAB recommending I get a new builder. Overall, the last 12 months have been an absolute nightmare. Its left us with a poor quality extension cost us 1000s more than it should have and it is still causing us 1000s to repair the mistakes left by the builder who was passed on my plans and drawings from JAB.

We were looking to extend our home so we began researching architects to help with our plans and JAB Design stood out from the crowd. When we made contact with JAB, we had a good idea of what improvements we wanted to make to our home. They took on board our requirements and were open minded to our suggestions and ideas. They worked with us to evolve our plans for the better and offered suggestions that we had not thought of but without being pushy. We were impressed with the quality and details of the plans that they produced for us and we always had positive comments from prospective builders. From the very beginning all of the members of the JAB team have been professional, helpful and are always prompt at responding to any correspondence. They have guided us through every step of our process and have stayed in touch with us to see how we are getting on. We would highly recommend JAB Design and if we ever have future plans, they will be our first point of contact. The new Extension Hub is also a great addition to the service that JAB Design offer. We found it easy to use and, in our opinion, it seemed to offer much more than the other mainstream builder portals. Thank you, James and all of the JAB Design team.

We were more than pleased with the design which gave us ideas we had not thought about. Was so good to go along and see the finished effect in 3d at their office and make any changes we wanted.

We were impressed with James & his team from our first introductory meeting and commissioned them to design and manage our house renovation to the planning stage which they have done with skill, knowledge and flair. We have used their extension hub to locate and retain a range of quality contractors and as we are about to embark on the 44 week build phase, the whole team at JAB continue to advise and provide support. Without doubt an excellent, knowledgeable and considerate 5 star service who I would recommend to anyone.
