        Normally Wetherspoons is a go-to pub for a few jars or a bit of food, but my last visit was awful! I normally don't do burgers there (as not really enjoyed the last few times I tried) but decided to have a gourmet burger (with a nice pint of Guinness). Why, oh why, did I do that!? It was the worst burger I've ever had (including the times I've tried cooking them - which always came out naff) and really nearly broke a tooth. The patties were both very charred to black. Never again! I would have said something to any of the staff (who normally would ask how things were, or at least picked up the empties, which they didn't) but none were around when I scanned and none came over. So we left without a word but, thankfully, with teeth intact, not impacted thank God!
