Bridge Removals

So 1 star is being very generous but there wasnt an option to leave 0 stars. If you want to move with as little stress as possible avoid this company at all costs! Booked them well in advance. Not the cheapest quote I got but not the most expensive either so I chose them due to their reviews. Had a text night before confirming the removal and the time. Then it all went downhill. - received a text on moving day stating they would be starting later than planned due to a family emergency of one of the crew in the night. So agreed on 10 am instead of 8 am. -11:00 am no sign of them Sent a message saw it had been read no response Tried to ring no answer so left a voicemail no -response -Sent another text was read and no response - tried to ring again call would not go through. Turns out they blocked my number -So a friend sent them a message which was read. - she rang them- no answer - left a voicemail- no response - she tried to ring again and yep you guessed it number had been blocked! By this time it was gone 13:00 hours. My partner rang a friend of his who Does removals on the off chance he had a cancellation- not available but informed us that the man that runs Bridge removals contacted him at 7 am to ask him if he could put source the job to him! So at 7 am they had no intention of providing the service I had booked them for. Consequently we did not finish moving home until 23:30 on the Sunday. Then we lost 2 weeks of my partners wages as he had a hip replacement in January(which is why we booked a removal company in the first place) and ended up having 14 days off work due to hip pain Thank goodness we have some amazing friends that all pulled together to help as god knows what would have happened if I had the money to Sue them I would! AVOID AVOID AVOID
