Kookoo Restaurant (Surbiton)

What an earth is going on with this restaurant? How irresponsible must be the owner and he didn't even take off from the web site? Couple days ago I booked the restaurant for my husband's birthday,I got confirmation everything good and the we went yesterday and was SHUT DOWN wasn't even wall no only door, how is possible to saw on the web site that's is open and except booking and the restaurant is ot even exist any more? I felt so fuming and embarrassed.

Nice authentic Persian food close to home. Have had the pleasure numerous times with just family as well as friends and visitors. Everyone really enjoyed the food, the flavour and the atmosphere. Great for families as well as takeaway. Get everything at least once... You'll come again so pace yourself!

Bland food and small portions, delivered with VERY slow service. Not sure if the waiter was having a bad day-either way, not a justification for the attitude I received when placing my order. A simple request for allergen information was met with a very cold and abrupt response and a refusal to ask the kitchen staff for further information. A very awkward interaction. Left a very bitter taste and ruined the atmosphere of the table.

The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and made the experience stress free. The menu was not too large and having Iranian friends helped the choice of excellent food. We will definitely go again.

Was good yummy food grill platter was generous potion although they forgot in this weather the hotplate the door is not fully shut so was quite windy and cold inside not much rush staff is quite friendly . After all the fatty food do remember to have their black tea it's the best .
