This coffee taste phenomenal and comes at such a reasonable price for the freshness and quality! I first found Hugo when looking around for some fresher beans for my new machine at home... I heard that once you try fresh roasted beans its impossible to go back to the store bought kind, and its so true! I have been coming to Hugo for some time now, restocking for myself and buying gifts for others, and its always a pleasure catching up and watching him work. He is super knowledgeable about coffee sourcing, roasting, brewing methods and much more, and has been developing his craft for many years. If you are lucky, you can catch him roasting a fresh batch at Colibri and get your beans straight from the roaster machine! The 2 to 4 week window after roasting is usually when the coffee tastes its best, and Hugo always has a freshly replenished roast from supplying the food markets and artisan coffee shops. I stumbled upon it after a wrong turn in the car. Glad I found Hugo who suggested an Indonesia single blend for filter and a blend for a iced coffee. Amazing, will certainly look to order by post soon!
