I feel for myself I would not recommend the surgery to anyone I know purely based on the fact I have had roughly 6/7 appointments for the same issue Ive called numerous times at my witts end stating that I was unwell only to be given the same blood tests time and time again which is not flagging up the issues which I have repeatedly told the surgery about Ive been passed from doctor to doctor! Also i went the other week with a pain in my side stating I was in agony and had been for days to be given antibiotics even though the symptoms were not that of a water infection as Ive had literally hundreds previously? The doctor at that time printed a prescription which am allergic to even though it said on a bright red banner on the screen in front of him and had been admitted previously to hospital after using it!! I then gave him it back and said Im actually allergic to that?? Hes then ASKED me what Ive used on previous occasions instead of bothering to look for himself which I knew would make me Ill which it did as a result I ended up with another complaint from the ones given. Also each time my partner and also myself have had an appointment the doctor on the day is NEVER on time on 4 occasions hes been up to an hour late? Not to mention the time to answer calls 20 mins and thats when I was 1st in the queue? At one point when Ive tried to make an appointment my partner himself drove there and saw through the window the staff not even on the phone just sat watching them ring? So he knocked on the door baring in mind its not meant to close until 6 this was 5.45? Im so frustrated with the level of service its getting to a point I cannot put up with this anymore hence i feel I need to speak out about the experience me and my partner have had over the last 2 years with this practice as it is diabolical.

This practice has declined significantly in the last few years. I cannot fault the clinical staff.. if you can get past the ill formed, rude and dismissive reception staff, to see them. Still waiting for the results of a urine test for a UTI a week later and no appointment with the GP UNTIL IT HAS COME BACK! Next GP appointment is 2 weeks time. Patients should not have to wait this long in acute, deteriorating pain and reception staff are not qualified to decide how serious a situation is. When ringing I was number 1 in the queue for 50 mins, I actually drove to the surgery to check they were still open at 4pm. 2 staff on reception, no doctor present, no patients in the waiting room and yet no one bothering to answer the phone. They have total disregard for the registered patients who need their help. I am moving practices as a matter of urgency.

Called on Friday asking to see a doctor as my medication has ran out. Was told to ring 8 o'clock Monday morning. I called the surgery at 8.0 after waiting 15 minutes someone from Spring well answered. Explained my medication and symptoms was told there was no appointments available. Now I'm without medication which I need. Absolutely disgusting after care

I write this review on behalf of my partner who has been having swelling around her eye and eye for approx once or twice a month for the last 18 months. The hospital have been investigating and have been a great help, the doctors are aware of this and all that is needed each time is a perscription for antibiotics to treat asap as and when it happens as the hospital stated "You must get the medication as a matter of urgency as around the eye is dangerous and can cause blindness". Despite the doctors being made aware of this on each occasion there seems to be issues firstly getting an appointment (even by telephone) then an issue getting the medication dispatched to the chemist on the same day. This results in my partner going to A&E needlessly to be issued one abx to see her through and then get a perscription from the hospital (something that should have been sorted by the doctors). I have tried to resolve this issue twice in conversations with the practice manager who seems more interested in telling you how processes work rather than working with you to find a solution. If the doctors spent more time with the patient and liaised with the hospital then maybe more appointments would be free for others to be able to attend both at the doctors and the hospital (it is embarassing to have to take yourself to A&E becuase your own doctors cannot help. Susan the practice manage then terminated my call as she said I was shouting (which was not the case), I also note that whoever responds to the reviews on here says others are shouting too. You can clearly see there are issues with this surgery due to the overall 2.4 star rating on here and in date order the amount of one star reviews that have been left. As a practice manager I would feel ashamed that my surgery is offering this level of service but then again maybe the practice manager is part of the problem. A formal complaint will be made both internally and to the regulator / governing body of this surgery and it will not go away until dealt with. It is negligence!

I rang for an oppoitment with abdominal pain and bleeding, first available appointment eight days, explained that the pain kept me awake at, informed the Doctor would refer me to A&E which negates the reason to see a Doctor.
