The shop is good for emergency stock up (I needed caster sugar for some baking), however, you need to be careful with checking the expiry dates on things and also double checking what you were charged as they very often overcharge items.
The people working there are mostly very nice and will correct if you point it out (Bob, the owner will just shout at you). The post office is handy too but only opens until 1pm.
