Young's Traditional Butchers

Went for a lovely joint of pork for a Sunday roast and Wanted to make lovely crackling off the top. The man in butchers explained the timings for cooking the meat and how to ensure the crackling would work well. Did all steps and must admit been ages since last roast was cooked but following butchers guidance the crackling turned out amazing and cooked perfect not undercooked at all and definitely not over cooked. Also amazing for sandwiches hot and cold. Beef dips are a fave for me. If you have a sweet tooth plenty of variety in fresh cakes too.

Absolutely exceptional butcher. You can tell customers are at the heart of what they do and nothing is too much trouble. They do their own dry cured bacon which is by far the best bacon I've ever had (and I've had a lot of bacon...) the staff are all lovely and I wouldn't go anywhere else for my meat. The butcher even helps with what cut/size you need and how to cook etc. Fantastic place and really good prices.
