SIMP Services - Boiler Installation and Bathrooms

Supplied and fitted a boiler timer and serviced the boiler. The work was done professionally and on the agreed date. The work area was left tidy and clean. The engineer was courteous and helpful during the work at all times.

Not usually a fan of posting reviews on Google but hoping if I share our experiences of this company others may avoid them. After shopping around for a installer to fit a Vaillant Boiler we opted for Simp Services Limited. They advised as an approved Installer and using the correct fitting kit they could extend the standard Vaillant warranty of 5 years to 10 years (this is something Vaillant support, provided registered by installer within 28 days of install). Initial impressions were good, with an instal date arranged quickly, being carried out July 2022. Had a lot of issues with instal not being up to a good enough standard, which resulted in repeated return visits to sort. After a few months we've started having problems with a leak, which after repeated phone calls and e-mails to Simp Services have had no response. To top it all off after contacting Vaillant to check the additional 5 year warranty was registered by Simp Services Limited I was told it hadn't been done! Cost of a boiler is a significant outlay but based on the website claims that Simp Services "reputation means everything to us" and "our customers receive longer than standard manufacturers warranties" and also a 1 guarantee on all work, we thought they were a safe bet. Obviously not as all three of these claims are clearly not true. This company is still active, with Ralf Watson Phil Simpson and Wayne Nicholson all directors. I've given you sufficient time to respond. We are left with a leak to repair as down to installation, not boiler fault which Vaillant would cover and also a shorter warranty than promised. Avoid this company.

Has simp gone into receivership,they are not answering any of their queries for service appointments since last October?

The lads resolved some huge plumbing issues at our football club, did an excellent job and got us back up and running. Would recommend to anyone and we will continue to use them
