ASDA Opticians

We were served by a lovely young lady called Dani in the Washington store recently. She went through everything with us & we purchased two pairs of glasses in the 2 for 120 range. Varifocals aswell. We would definately recommend this store for the prices to. At first we went to Specsavers but ended up walking away. They are just out for a healthy profit & for selling all their addons. So well done Asda & thankyou to Dani who was so helpful

Poor. Spent a while looking at the display whilst neither of the two staff on duty could be bothered getting out of their chairs to offer assistance (they weren't busy either). Finally I had to approach them. Quickly got the impression they were more interested in sales/profitability rather than customer satisfaction. Quickly stated taking about surcharges when I thought Asda prices were complete. Extremely unimpressed. Have bought from Asda before but will not buy from this one.

Had my eyes tested at Boots & took my prescription to Asda in the Galleries @ Washington, on recommendation of my Brother & Sister in-law, who have used them for years. Had a look at some of the frames & made an appointment to see Heather. She was very knowledgeable with regards to the frames & what would suit me, what lenses would be best, considering I had varifocals with transitions. I chose a pair of glasses from the Italian Collection & a pair of sunglasses for my 2nd pair, with same prescription. Alan contacted me on Friday to say my sunnies were in & the ordinary specs should be in on Saturday. Got a call yesterday to say they both in store. Collected them yesterday & I must say they are great. 2 pairs for 199, great service from start to finish. Thank you all, I would definitely recommend them.
