Thank you to all at Bryony Park for the care and consideration shown to my mother during her 6 year stay here. Dementia is a cruel disease, but the staff are well able to cope with this and offer support to all involved. I have nothing but praise for their attention, and know that although this was a one way journey, without that support the route traveled would have been harder and a lot shorter.

Jill was exceptionally rude and would not give prices when I asked and did not reply to emails. Care must be even worse!!

8 week's stay. A very unpleasant experience. We told the management of my mother's medication & informed them that it must not be changed under any circumstances. She has a benign brain tumour, epilepsy & high blood pressure. The medication for epilepsy must be given on a regular basis. Failing this, her seizures will start again. She has been on high blood pressure medication for the majority of her life. Why did the Dr change this medication? Her GP had prescribed a small dose antibiotic to stop urine infections caused by a catheter. The Home's Dr stopped this. Within a very short period of time, she became unwell due to a urine infection & spiked blood pressure. I asked the Manager why the medication had been changed/stopped altogether. Her response was that the Dr must have had a good reason. To date, we do not know why The Home allowed this change to her medication (without consulting us), even though we strictly said not to make any alterations at all to her medication.
