Nice wooded area to walk the dog, and woods are always welcome, right? Small, but I've watched the trees grow from saplings so have a lot of love for the place.

Don't waste your time. Extremely small bit of woodland in scruffy area. Considering the amount of undeveloped land in the North East, it's a crime there is so little woodland to explore and what little there is is tiny and not worth visiting.
