I bought a suit but the trousers had to be ordered in, I came in a day before the collection date to pick up some other things and saw the trousers that I had been waiting for in stock. I picked them up and showed the woman at the till my receipt, showing that I had ordered the trousers and paid for them but she told me that I wasn't allowed to pick them up before the collection date. I went in the following day to collect the trousers but it was still very difficult to collect the trousers because the member of staff who had entered my number into the system had done so incorrectly. I didn't receive a text and they were very reluctant to give me the trousers that I had already paid for because of the mistake made by one of their members of staff. The store assistant was eventually willing to give me the trousers that I had paid for after repeatedly declining my request and telling me to phone the office. I got home took out the trousers and saw that she had not only left the security tag on but had also damaged the trousers whilst carelessly pulling them out of the coat hanger in order to scan them.

I purchased a clock for collection from the Sunderland store. By the time it arrived we had gone into tier 4 so I was unable to get anyone to help me get it to the car - I am disabled and walk with 2 elbow crutches and this clock was 93cm in diameter. I managed to get to the shop, (with difficulty), and asked the staff if they'd put the clock outside of their back door, (which opens out onto a public road). I could drive the car up to the door and, once they'd gone inside, I could just pick it up and slide it into the car. Doing so would have placed them at no increased risk whatsoever as I would have been inside the car. The back door is easily accessible for them and are the doors they take deliveries through so passing a clock through them would not have been difficult. They flat refused. I had to leave without the clock. When I rang to make a complaint I was told they would deliver it to my house, by way of an apology for the staff's behaviour. I waited all day on the delivery date I was given then, 25 minutes before their time allocation was up, they rang me to say they weren't coming, the clock was no longer available and they didn't know when they'd be available again. They still haven't refunded my 110 either so I now have no clock and no money. Absolutely appalling service. Had the staff in the Sunderland store bothered to help me by doing one simple thing, I would have had the clock and everything would have been fine. The Sunderland store staff's attitude towards their customers is disgusting.
