Having been dealing with Marquis Durham for 4 years now and before i bought our Motorhome i looked into all types and the issues. It seems most of the makes have issues and Marquis have been great on getting these resolved quickly, especially over the past 3 years with distribution and the pandemic. I have dealt with Graeme who has kept me up to speed on all issues. I would highly recommend Marquis Durham as the after sales service has been excellent, always courteous and reply very quickly to emails and calls.

I cannot recommend this dealer who seem only keen to sell but not prepared to support their product. I had so many problems that I decided to simply never return there and just let it go but I have met so many other people who have also had very negative experiences here that I feel duty bound to leave a review. In my case one of the very large skylights on my Adria blew off in a storm while they vehicle was in their care. They had previously repaired the other skylight and test driven the vehicle but still refused to accept any liability. In my opinion you should check that everything is secured in a motorhome before you drive it. I had driven up the A1 to bring it in for repair without incident so either they had not checked that the skylight was secured when they test drove it, or if it was secured as they claim, then it was not fit for purpose. Adria, the manufacturer was also unsupportive simply saying that they had never heard of a skylight flying off. The radio and sat nav only ever worked intermittently from day 1 but even though it went back in twice they never fixed it. The habitation battery and door lock failed within 2 years of purchase but again they claimed it was out of warranty because the vehicle had been pre registered, so the warranty expired from that date, not from the date I purchased the vehicle. They carried out the annual habitation inspection twice but I later discovered that they had never confirmed this to the manufacturer so, in theory, my 10 year habitation check was invalidated. Fortunately I was able to have this corrected. But I won't ever go back to Marquis.......

Wanted a new Motorhome, Lee at birtley was excellent , very knowledgeable and not at all pushy re sales, spent a lot of time to ensure what we eventually bought was exactly what we needed. Great service and follow up, certainly recommend. . Many thanks
