Lovely lady and excellent service. I would never have believed the importance of a Pelvic Physio and the success of the treatment given. Every female should have access to this area of expertise

Katy is absolutely amazing, really takes the time to get to know her patients on an individual level and she was able to relieve my symptoms after a birth injury almost completely, which I never thought could happen. She really goes above and beyond for everyone she treats, and has made herself available to support me even after my treatment had finished. Highly recommend for any post natal issues. I only wish I'd known about her sooner!

Ever since learning double unders Ive dreaded them coming up in workouts because I have always peed during them. No matter how hard I tried I couldnt fix it. Id got to the point where Id just accepted that it happened, made sure I wore black leggings if they came up, and got on with it. I openly joked about it at the gym, not because I found it funny, but because I hated the idea that if it was happening to other women at the gym, theyd feel embarrassed about it and maybe it would put them off CrossFit. I laughed about it but inside I hated that it was happening and I couldnt fix it. At the start of this year I decided to seek professional help. Enter Katy. Turns out my pelvic floor was not functioning as it should, and during the specific positions my body was in during skipping it was putting more pressure on my bladder than it could cope with. Katy has been brilliant, helping me to understand how my pelvic floor should be working and giving me techniques to improve function. Alongside this Ive had to re-learn how to do double unders and take a step back to move forward. Im so pleased I did. Not only have I fixed the actual problem, but when I skip now my heart rate stays lower and Im more relaxed, so its also less effort. It wasnt a quick fix, its been months of small changes and adjustments, but so worth it. I just wish Id sought help sooner! I wouldnt have hesitated to see a physio about any other muscle I was having issues with, yet with this Id just accepted it was something Id have to suffer with. The pelvic floor doesnt get talked about openly enough, and if it hadnt felt like a taboo subject I probably would have got help sooner. If anybody in the North East is looking for help with theirs, Katy is awesome.

Just a recommendation for any Mamas out there who have recently given birth or are struggling with the after effects in any way (or who are pregnant). I've just had my postnatal assessment with Katy. She is so welcoming, so knowledgeable and really knows her stuff! Such piece of mind knowing everything has returned to where it should be post birth with only a few things to work on. Really really helpful advice and techniques learnt today. Totally recommend if you are feeling the after effects in anyway no matter how long ago you gave birth... Hope this helps a Mama in need out there

I dont even know where to begin with saying how amazing Katy is!!! My first appointment with Katy was when I was 16 weeks PP and I was desperate for help due to the pain I was in after birth. Little did I know when going to Katy that I had suffered a 4th degree tear, hence the pain & why it was taking so long to heal. Katy listened to me, showed empathy & hands down is the nicest health care professional Ive ever met. GPs werent interested Katy made me feel at complete ease at each appointment & after my initial assessment come up with a plan with exercises for me to do at home between appointments. I cant praise Katy and her knowledge enough, Ive recommended her to everyone I know! Thank you for all of your help Katy, if it wasnt for you Id still be in all of that pain now. Not only did you help me feel like my old self, but you listened & chatted with me & made me feel heard. Ill be forever grateful 5* plus!!!!! X
