I want everyone struggling but to ashamed to ask for help, not to go hungry. Today was my first experience going to a food bank i felt ill with nerves got to the door n couldnt handle going in so hid round corner while i composed myself then i was ok and went in, immediately the staff reassured me and i was put at ease, with a few questions to answer which took no time, I was told to choose any items from extra bench full, then i was presented with a trolley filled with bags of shopping which the staff had made up for me I feel so overwhelmed and grateful for the help and support given. Did not expect to be given so much from food , toiletries and wash tablets.Thank you do much
