Excellent service from this gentleman. He had to totally strip down our dyson small ball vac, to discover what was preventing it from picking up. I had somehow managed to suck up a HUGE nail, which was trapped in the change over valve. Fluff was trapped behind it, causing a total blockage. Our machine is now working perfectly! Thank you Gordon!

Must say I don't normally leave a rating for services I use but I must say I used grangetown domestic appliance,s and what a Fantastic old school service he provides at a very competitive price so I would highly recommend this service if it's a proper repair your after and not a quick fix then this is the place to go I was told by two other independent repair companies that my motor was shot on my wet vac / blower and took it hear to find it was repairable for less than the cost of a new motor if u had any sort of knowledge in how the appliance was actually made and the components involved rather than just a case of less hassle to properly diagnose the fault and replace the full motor than to actually pinpoint the problem and then decide if it was better to replace the components involved or repair them at a fraction of the cost so hence the term old school when things were made to last if properly maintenanced unlike today where it's easier to just replace the item instead of repair it so in a nutshell if u can afford to just replace the item then u wouldn't be looking for this service in the first place but I didn't have 350 pound to replace my appliance although after owning it for 7 years u could hardly complain about not getting your money's worth it's cost me 30 quid for a repair that could lead to another 7 years of use before a replacement is actually needed although that can't be guaranteed obviously but the repaired part In question dose come with a guarantee so if u have took the time to read this review then u would be crazy to not get a free quote from this old school genuine repair service 5 is really not high enough so never go anywhere else until u have had a totally free quotation with this company thanks again Gordon i believe the owner is called again much appreciated
