Big gob entertainment attended a fate at Ashlea Lodge Care home and I would just like to review how caring and friendly all the staff were. They were absolutely fantastic with all the residents, spending quality time with them. The home it self is warm and welcoming and immaculately clean. It was a pleasure to see the residents so happy and thoroughly enjoying themselves

The most advanced Care Home in the North East for Dementia with all the latest technology and great supporting staff they have looked after my mother in law for several years now as she was the first arrival in the advanced upstairs unit.

Ashlea Lodge have recently opened a new Reconnect Unit for people with advanced Dementia. Our aim is to promote what our residents are still able to do. Giving them back a sense of identity. We have three residents in at present and they have all surprised everyone with what they are still able to do in their everyday daily living. We have a lady who has been able to butter her own toast every morning and apply her jam onto her toast. We have a gentleman that has baked cakes and put them in the oven himself with support from staff. All this is having a positive impact on their lives and their wellbeing. There is a great staff team within Ashlea Lodge.
