Barnes Court Care Home

No care in this care home..would not send your family here to be cared for they certainly won't receive any!!! My dad left dehydrated by the staff here Water spilled down his top from a member of staff right in front of my eyes & no apology giving!! I can't stress enough how bad this place is..severely run down & not at all inviting

My mother was placed in Barnes Court after a short stay in hospital. After a two month stay which included Christmas and New year she was allowed to return home. I can honestly say that if it wasnt for the excellent care and attention she received from the staff at Barnes Court she wouldnt be in the good place she is in now. My mother (91) couldnt praise the staff and the quality of the food she received high enough. Her room was maintained to a high standard and the support she received was first class. Abby, Julie, Kate and all carers and support staff on floor 2 are to be commended on their professional approach and I would like to thank them again for the care my mother received.

Looks worn down windows are old had an unpleasant smell upstairs. Rooms that i saw looked old and dated. No toilet facilities in rooms would hate to think my family member had to go out of the room just to use a toilet.. staff seem friendly enough. Would use it as a last resort.
