Cake's were vile stale and not good, they looked ok certainly didn't taste it, Hardly any filling in the sandwiches and when pre warned via email no fish as allergic we were served tuna sandwiches which could have at the very least put me in hospital. No good at all, Dietary restrictions: Given tuna when wrote no fish as allergic, this could have killed me

Very poor service and stale food. We went hoping for coffee and cakes. The menu had a decent selection of hot drinks and iced lattes, and we selected iced coffees with different syrups in. It transpired that the syrups on the menu didn't at all reflect what they actually had behind the counter, and we were handed a scratty bit of paper with random syrups written on it. Our coffees arrived and were fine. However the server, returned and said "a question about your cakes".I said sure, what's the question.he said "what were they". I could sense he was out of his depth in the job, but at times this turned into accidental rudeness and very poor customer service. When my cake arrived I was shocked. I asked for a raspberry and lemon sponge cake. You could see how dry it was before eating it. I tapped the bottom of the cake with my spoon and it was solid, and when I dared eat some it was actually crispy and crunchy. Clearly left there for days. My friends ordered scones, and these were served with butter sachets that had been so badly melted that the butter poured onto the plate. Also, despite the scones being in the cake section of the menu - they did not qualify for the 5 Cake and Coffee deal. Basically - to avoid disappointment: order at the till for yourself, don't trust the menu and definitely do not eat the cake.

Booked an afternoon tea through Groupon and it did not disappoint. I was sceptical at first after seeing very mixed and inconsistent reviews. However the scones were excellent, sandwiches were average but overall a great deal. Staff were friendly too
