The process was made very easy, and I was highly impressed by Kirby and her handling of any queries and negotiations I had, very professional & polite at all times. Use Gordon Lamb - the staff in particular Kirby, are polite helpful friendly and professional. The lovely staff have gone above and beyond for me. I live in Spain so I left the sale of my home in their safe hands - nothing too much trouble for the team in Washington - Great service - my experience has been faultless In addition, I would also like to take this opportunity to thank them for the sale of another property connected to our family - which has also been a very positive experience! Went to view a property in Consett. We offered 12 months rent up front. We're told absolutely brilliant there won't be a problem!!!!!!!! After waiting 7 days phoned back to be told they are waiting for the owner for an answer???? After 3 more days were told it's let sorry. They said they left me a message which I never received and found out somebody had moved in even when I was told they are waiting for the owner to get in touch!!!!!?!!!!!

I decided to put my property on the market in late summer 2022 and had 3 local agents out for a valuation. My objective was to establish a true market valuation; however more importantly was to get a sense of the team who would be selling my property. My first meeting was with Liane and what struck me was the instant rapport we had and determination to list and sell my property for the best possible price. I also was reassured by her handling my direct questions. I decided to go with Gordon Lamb because of that meeting with Liane and the belief I had in her. I was then introduced to Kirby who was my case manager. Again I had several face to face meetings with Kirby initially, setting out my expectations as a customer and I always felt Kirby was focused and committed in doing the very best she could for me. Throughout the numerous viewings I was also impressed with both her written and verbal communication, especially with me being very demanding around detail etc. Kirby also has heightened emotional intelligence and knew exactly when to empathise with me however was equally comfortable in challenging me when I needed to be challenged. Her conflict resolution skills were needed on occasions and always looked for a joint solution however always stayed true to her values of honesty and integrity. Both Liane and Kirby are a strong team and I would highly recommend Gordon Lamb because of them. I genuinely feel they get the balance correct for both the sellers and buyers, representing both with a high degree of professionalism. Overall when selling my house I wanted a team that would be honest with me, real with me, and have a huge amount of resilence to get the sale across the line. They did that and more!!!
