The hotel is very shabby. Possibly the shabbiest Premier Inn I've stayed at - what happened to all that investment cash that Whitbread was sitting on after selling Costa? The staff were not very helpful. My kettle kept tripping out the master switch in my room. When I asked for a replacement my request was met by a deep and unhappy sigh. The water pressure was very low, coming out as little more than a trickle, when I mentioned it to the same person he just glared at me and told me that was the way it was. (like it or lump it as my mum used to say.) There was a problem with another guest on my floor and someone from the hotel had a loud slanging match with him one evening. Not a good look. I don't know who was right or wrong, but you don't have that kind of conversation in a public space. Not a happy stay. Won't be back. See Brewers Fair for a review of the
