Gibson & Wood Funeral Directors

This is the second time we have used Gibson & Wood funeral directors, both times he has been amazing with us he took away all of our worries and stress from us as a family. We forgot to order dad's book of service rang rudi and straight away he was onto it for us. He done an amazing job with dad he look so at peace in the Chapel of rest, I can't fault his services one bit he was amazing from start to finish and even after we have buried our father he's still sorting things out for us at his final resting place. Thankyou rudi from the bottom of our hearts dad will be looking down on you with proudness in his heart thankyou once again from Patrick I'anson's family

Rudi is a very very close friend, that done my Mams Funeral. for even Rudi it was difficult. But he done my Mam and Family so so Proud. Please do not chose big companies as He made this Devastating Time better, nothing was a problem and we could see my Mam a few times. Know body should go through this Time but although devastating Rudi helped so much.

I lost my brother in April and was introduced to rudi by my sister in law and when I say this man bent over backwards for me to make sure my brother had the send of he deserves. Rudi picked my brother up from Sheffield no questions asked. Money was never mentioned even when the bill came it was simply handed to me no pressure nothing at all. Flowers were second to none. Nothing was ever a challenge for rudi and I felt at ease even ri ging rudi even if it was to change something about the funeral. Such a genuine bloke so from the bottom of my heart thank you so much rudi you are 100% the best in the business.

I would like to thanks Rudi from Gibson and Wood Funeral directors. From start to finish everything was dealt with impeccably. During a terrible time in everyones lives, they guaranteed everything was correct from what we needed, giving us time to grieve without having any worries until the funeral itself and for that I will be eternally grateful. Id recommend these to anyone as you get exactly what you want and to be dealt with in the utmost respect to yourselves and allow you not to worry throughout. Again, thanks Rudi for the service you gave us.

We would like to thank Rudi from Gibson & Wood Funeral Directors for their impeccable service and support throughout this difficult time We cannot recommend them enough. We were so impressed by how Rudi went out of his way at every corner to help with everything. He went above and beyond and helped navigate us through the preparations. It left us feeling stress free and at ease. There were so many helpful suggestions and going out of his way for things to help us out that we could had not imagined. Rudi came to meet us and in no way did we feel any type of 'business' even though there were lots of details to take care of, the whole process was handled with great sensitivity, respect and decorum. The service was beautiful and Eileen, the humanist ,did mam proud. Mams celebration of life, was very well portrayed the atmosphere was very peaceful, respectful and all was just lovely. Mam passed away peacefully at 82 years young and for times as such you need people with sincerity, empathy and professionalism such as Rudi showed. This is a company that fulfilled all our expectations. We would like to thank Rudi, his team, the stunning flowers created by his mum and Gibson & Wood Funeral Directors from the bottom of our hearts. Paul, Jo and George xx
