Paid 400 for Neil to come out and survey the property and very happy! Neil noticed a few reasons to why the damp was coming through our wall, which he explained very well and give me an average price of what I should expect to pay for these small jobs. Also Neil emailed me a full report to what jobs need doing to fix the damp problem, a rough estimate and even asked if I needed help in looking for a contractor for the work. If anyone out there is thinking 400 just for a survey is expensive, I know from neighbours in my street who have been quoted thousands or paid thousands for work they havent needed, and know Neil has saved me thousands if I went with any other contractors for advice! I now know there is a couple little jobs that need doing to fix the issue and not need my whole wall repointed and getting told bad advice. It was well worth it! And probably saved most his clients thousands! Very knowledgeable and trust worthy! Would defo recommend to friends, family or anyone and use again anytime! 5* :)

We had concerns about the floor between the living room and the conservatory of a house we were moving into especially as the house had been empty for a few months. There were also issues with the drainage from the conservatory roof. Our first impressions of Neil's website were very positive and our initial contact with his office was very professional and reassuring. On the day Neil came to do his survey the boiler had just given up, we were worried our sale was going to fall through and I was now convinced that the house was on the verge of collapse! Neil was absolutely lovely and very tolerant of my anxiety. He explained exactly what he was going doing to do and afterwards he went over his findings. The floor was fine but there were a couple of other issues to sort. The report that Neil sent was easy to understand and again outlined the action we needed to take. He also gave us advice on other building issues in the house and how to address them. I would definitely recommend Neil and if we had any future concerns about a house we would ask him to do another survey. The peace of mind his survey gave us, as well as the practical advice was well worth the cost.
