Had a great day at Beamish courtesy of Essence, thanks to Donna for sorting ticket at short notice. All the family had a super day, will definitely go again. Thanks again Donna. Use of the Essences service is a godsend to people with Alzheimer's , Dementia in Sunderland and surrounding areas and also helps the carers and family's. The outreach events mean more people get to use the service nearer where they live and when they need it.A couple hours a week respite and meeting with other famils really do make a difference. All the staff are a credit to the caring profession.And do a superb job. Thank you: The Essence outreach groups are growing again what a lot of fun were having if you haven't been to one get along , games quizes and lots of laughs

Changed my life since essence.felt I was being dragged down and scared.The team there are fantastic.I go Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday. Nothing is too much trouble,they are always there to help.im always met with lovely smiles. Thank you to all the staff who work together so well. xxx Margaret Parker
