This is a very good barber. Craig the owner is up for training young people from the City College nearby. He gives the students the necessary time in a barber shop to qualify from the college. His barbering skills are of the best tradition of old English Barbers and the prices are fair. He offers pensioners a "Cut Price" deal! They get their hair cut for 6.50 which is great. Always there are people in getting their hair done. He offers a full service. They do ears, eyebrows and anything else you ask for often with no extra cost. It's been here for years it is the best in the City Centre I feel. I've been getting my haircut for over 60 years. Well more than a decade in there anyway. If you're in Town head towards the big bus and train interchange on the right and the Sunderland College on the left. Olive Street is the right hand side heading towards the interchange or the second opening on the left leaving the Interchange. Olive Street is easy to find.
