I really wish I could give this 5 stars based on the warm welcome we received from Peter and Jan, however our experience in the club left a lot to be desired. A masquerade ball advertised to be a fun filled event was, in reality, no more than 20 people, 2 of which were our hosts, 5 were single males who lurked *everywhere*, leaving just a handful of couples - some of whom were clearly uncomfortable with the persistent close proximity of the singletons. The poor attendance was blamed on the weather (flooding on the M25) yet we had driven over 200 miles to attend this party and did not encounter any major issues. I really di think that they should have taken a leaf out of my late father's book who went by the philosophy of "turn your customers down instead of letting them down". They should have cancelled the event and re-scheduled it instead of pushing through. Had they have done this we would be eager to return. Instead, we are very unlikely to visit the Hellfire Club again. A shame that we simply went on the wrong night. A shame that 'the wrong night' was allowed to go ahead.

hello, I bought a ticket for the night of October 22, only male. Is there a special outfit for tonight or what are the clothes that you do not accept there as standard?

There tonight and disappointing empty, couple of singles, 3 couples and really: quiet. Looks more like the usuals literally living here and thats it. Nice reception, smile and affordable. But empty.
