D& T have looked after me very well over the last decade and longer. They assisted in getting me early cataract surgery via Moorfields in London (in contrast to the dreadful service at Broomfields) which was successful - particularly when one required post-operative laser treatment - also at Moorfields but D & T diagnosed it first. I have had a couple of pairs of defective frames through them and these have been changed or repaired without quibble. Sadly, their recently introduced charging structure and policy disenfranchises NHS funded patients so I am now attending another local independent optician instead and hence the 2 stars on this review; they are very competent opticians but no longer for me.

I love Drage and Tozer! My family love that I feel so supported by such an amazing team of specialists. The last 2 years has been very frightening at times: waking up and finding my chronically dry eyelids suddenly stuck to my eyeballs was a wake up call. I really hadn't taken good care of my eyes. Now I had to learn: how to unstick them, how to manage Blephritis, and how to proactively protect my now fragile retinas. I've lost count of how many times my eyes have been monitored with Drage and Tozer's latest equipment, usually the reserve of hospitals. Every time I've called I've been seen within a day or two, or even just hours... even during COVID. Today it was Helen who gave me the wonderful news that my chronic dry eyes are now not only stable again (I have successfully learned to manage them), but that the results of all the tests she did today on their even newer machines,, reveal i have really healthy eyes. I can't tell you how good this feels to not only just be told, but to patiently been shown.. Thank you so much Drage and Tozer for your vision of the best and most affordable health care for eyes for everyone.
